construction drawings and specifications for conformance with
building codes and standards. Advised permit applicants of minimum
code requirements and served as technical resource in areas
of expertise: structural engineering, wood-frame construction,
seismic design, wind loads, life safety, and Americans with
Disabilities Act. Actively participated in the code development
process at state and national levels that resulted in improved
building practices, construction cost savings, and reduced inconsistencies
in code interpretations.

April 1990.
Performed design of commercial and industrial facilities. Prepared
engineering calculations and drawings.

computer analysis of structural models. Reworked reactor coolant
pump supports at Oconee Nuclear Station to improve response
to seismic events.
